Swamp auger

The Swamp Auger comes from the folklore of the North American lumberjacks in the 19th and 20th centuries. The Swamp Auger is an unknown aquatic creature that lives in the lakes and that has an extremely long snout like an elephant. It swims below boats and uses its snout to drill small 3 inch holes in the bottom of the boat. It will continue to do this until the boat sinks. To prevent a Swamp Auger from doing so, you can tickle its nose or sprinkle cayenne pepper on its nose as its drilling a hole. The beast will then sneeze which it enjoys and have its nose trapped in the boat allowing you to row the boat to shore.
