The Pukau is an unknown pig-like creature, reported from Mount Madalong, in Sabah State, Borneo, Malaysia. Resembles a cross between a deer and a pig. Sharp tongue. Runs swiftly if disturbed.
- The Babirusa (Babyrousa babyrussa), whose upturned tusks might be described as a sharp tongue. Though it is found only on Sulawesi, Buru, and neighboring islands, this wild pig’s presence in Borneo could account for the Pukau.
