The Peruvian Jungle Wildcat is a small feline from Peru, sighted in mountainous forests at elevations of 2,300 feet. Tabby coloration. Long canines. Aggressive. Hunts in packs of ten or more, unlike any other New World cat. Sometimes accompanied by Ocelots (Felis pardalis) and Jaguars (Panthera onca). Feeds on birds and rodents. Sighted in Lower Río Urubamba, near Puerto Miaria, northern Cuzco Department, Peru.
