The Greek Dolphin is an unknown cetacean, said to live in the Mediterranean Sea. Similar to the striped dolphin but without the diagnostic dark stripe running from the underside of the tail to the eye or the pale-gray, finger-shaped marking below the dorsal fin. Seen several times in the Mediterranean by Willem Mörzer Bruyns.

Possible explanationEdit

  • Significant variations in the markings of the Striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba) are known to occur both individually and geographically.
